High School Boys Team
COACH: Simon Austin
Coach Austin has been playing soccer
(football) since he was 3 years old. He played for Manchester
Boys before being picked up by Altruncham in the Vauxhall
Conference. After a knee injury setback he joined Histon in
Cambrindshire wherehe had a couple of great seasons. A striker
by nature, he scored around 500 points and won many trophies,
but mainly had a great time.
He started coaching as a hobby in
the UK and, in 2004, came to the U.S. to continue his education
after gaining the FA Level 2 badge. He has worked for MASA in
the spring and fall and finds it a great and rewarding
experience.
