Art Auction
The senior high
school National
Art Honor
Society club
members are
looking for any
local artists
who would like
to donate a work
of art for our
silent Art
Auction. The
Art Auction will
run from Monday,
Nov. 17th
to 3:00 p.m. on
Friday, Dec. 5th.
All winners will
be announced on
Monday, Dec. 8th.
The money raised
will be donated
to our SHS
annual Holiday
Telethon. The
telethon is
raising money
for the
Westmoreland
County Food
Bank, since they
are desperately
in need of
donations this
year.
We hope to have
students,
teachers and
community
members donating
quality
hand-made art
items so that we
can have a
variety of very
nice items up
for bid. Items
should be matted
or otherwise
ready for use
and display.
Please also have
your name and
contact
information with
your item. They
may be dropped
off at the
Senior High
office with
attention to
Mrs. Mozina.
Donations will
only be accepted
up to Friday,
Nov. 14th.
All auction
items will be
numbered and on
display in the
large showcase
across from the
office in the
main Senior High
Lobby. The
silent bidding
sheets will be
on the bulletin
board in the
office, so that
you can keep
track of your
bid and keep
outbidding
anyone else. We
hope everyone
can find
something they
just can’t live
without to bid
on- and help us
fight hunger in
our area!
