FRHS Mock Election From Melissa Miller: I would like to send my sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make the Mock Electoral College a success! The kids did a wonderful job, enjoyed themselves and learned something in the process. It is great to know that we have an environment where both the teachers and the students can work so successfully together. A special thanks to Becky Magness and the Media kids for airing campaign commercials all week on the morning announcements and televising the Mock Electoral College- I hope the donuts help alleviate some of the pain! To Kristin Giron, the newspaper and yearbook staff, thanks for covering the in class debates as well as Mock Electoral College--- we look forward to seeing the candidates in print! For Debbie Scheinert and the Techies, thanks for giving us light and sound! Of course, the PTO for the much loved and anticipated “PTO Cookies”. For the teachers who allowed us to steal all of their seniors, which I am sure caused you great loneliness, thank you as well. And for the principals, for supporting yet another hair brained idea of the social studies department J Finally, to the fabulous members of the best department ever--- super special thanks to Team America, the social studies department for our many, many hours of hard work--- We Rock! If you see the following kids please take a moment to congratulate them: Ricky Bevington--- John McCain Caroline Stuart--- Sarah Palin Jake Sternberger--- Barack Obama Marc Yearsley--- Joe Biden Sam Skupien --- Moderator

At this meeting we will discuss how your club, class, sports team, etc. can be involved. Judy Polczynski will be there to help sort out how we can collect the most needed items for the food bank. We would also like you to bring a student representative. If you absolutely cannot attend, please send a responsible club officer who can collect information for your club or group.
