Westmoreland County Food Bank Desperately Needs Donations
The Westmoreland County Food Bank Warehouse in Delmont is in desperate need of non-perishable food and paper product donations. My class would be willing to work with other classes or clubs to collect items for the food bank. (They are especially in need of cereal and cereal bars.) I realize that many of the clubs are busy with Homecoming preparations at this time, but if your class or club would like to sponsor a collection later in the year, it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime, if any staff members or students would like to donate items, just drop them off in my room (Sr. High 126). My students work at the food bank warehouse every Thursday and we would be willing to make the deliveries. For more information, contact me via email or at extension 5126. Judy Polczynski, Life Skills Support Teacher
