Request for Big Wheel or similar riding toy
Students in Ms. Sunseri’s class at the high school are in need of a Big Wheel type riding toy. For an academic competition, the students need to construct a “plane”, that will perform a variety of specific tasks, out of a riding toy. One restriction is that the student “piloting” the vehicle can’t be over 1 meter from the ground. Hence, the need for a Big Wheel type toy.
We will not damage this toy, and will return it after the competition is completed in late February. If you have a toy to lend us, please contact Susan Sunseri at 724-327-5456 ext. 5245 or ssunseri@franklinregional.k12.pa.us.

FRANKLIN REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT EXCELLENCE AWARD
In its pursuit of excellence, the Franklin Regional School District will once again recognize those individuals or groups whose efforts on behalf of the students embody excellence. Many times individuals experience excellence in action, but do not have the time or take the opportunity to properly thank those responsible. The Franklin Regional Excellence Award provides the avenue to acknowledge the efforts of those dedicated to the students in our school district. Nomination forms are available in the office of each school building in the District, or on the District web site – www.franklinregional.k12.pa.us.
Nominations will be accepted at the Administration Office, located in the Heritage Elementary School building, beginning January 20th through February 13th.
It takes only a little of your time to make a nomination. Any member of the school community, students, too, may nominate an individual (student, volunteer, staff, administrator or member of the community at large) or group for this recognition. Don’t let this opportunity to recognize excellence go by without your participation.
